During its most recent Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled a number of intriguing new devices and features, including the Galaxy S24 series. However, one of the most noteworthy innovations isn't one that is exclusive to the Galaxy brand. Because Circle to Search was created in collaboration with Google, it will also work with Google phones.
What is Circle to Search?
Circle to Search is essentially a new method of searching for anything without having to switch between applications. Long pressing the home button or, if gesture navigation is enabled, the navigation bar will activate the function. Then, when you use your finger to draw a circle around something on your screen that you wish to look up, your phone will display search results. Circle to Search may be used, for instance, to look up a piece of apparel you may have seen in a YouTube video or to learn more about a recipe you're looking at online. It's not enough to just circle the object you want to search for: It is also possible to tap on it, highlight it, and draw over it. As part of Google's AI search enhancements, multi-search allows you to simultaneously search using text and photos that you've marked. According to Google, you can use the Circle to Search gesture on text, photos, and videos. Essentially, this function allows you to find everything and anything.
You don't have to stop what you're doing to search because these results show up inside the app. You may easily return to your prior job by swiping the results away after you're finished.
